CSC NAMES SAUVAGEAU MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Complete Senior Care (CSC) PACE, the Niagara County-based nonprofit organization that empowers older adults to age with dignity and independence, announced today that Dr. Philip Sauvageau has been named medical director effective September 1.

“During this nation-wide pandemic, our agency has stepped up our efforts to serve the community and expand our services,” said John W. Kinner, President and CEO of CSC. “The PACE model is centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in their community whenever possible. Dr. Sauvageau shares our mission and we are so pleased to welcome him to our team, and to gain his expertise and leadership as we grow in Niagara County.”

Dr. Sauvageau has dedicated his career to compassionately caring for others for over 30 years. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and currently practices out of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital Primary Care in Lewiston. He started as a physician with Mount St. Mary’s in 1999, and additionally, has served as Medical Director at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home since 2006. Dr. Sauvageau served in the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps for 10 years. He is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and resides in Niagara Falls.

Dr. Sauvageau will provide medical leadership for the CSC medical clinic, both internally and externally. He is now responsible for medical policy and overseeing all medical affairs and clinical functions for both employed and contracted medical providers.
